Do oranges help with weight loss?

I'm really trying to lose some weight, and my dietitian suggested adding more fruits to my diet. Someone told me oranges are great for weight loss. Is that true, actually?

Honestly, they definitely help as a low-calorie snack because they are full of water and fiber. But don't replace your meals with just orange juice, as you lose all the fiber that way. Keep it simple and eat the whole fruit instead.

I recently lost 8 kgs and oranges were my go-to sweet treat. Whenever I craved chocolate after dinner, I just ate half an orange. It really worked for me to cut down extra sugar without feeling like I was starving.

Bro, I literally survived on oranges and black coffee during my exam weight loss phase. It actually stops the junk food cravings big time because peeling them takes so much effort, lol. Definitely better than eating chips when you are bored.

Oranges are highly nutritious and good for metabolism, but weight loss requires a structured diet plan. If you have issues like acidity or GERD, eating too many citrus fruits might cause trouble. It is always better to consult a certified clinical nutritionist to design a plan that works for your body.

They are great for fat loss because they have a low glycemic index and satisfy your sweet tooth. I usually have one pre-workout for a clean energy boost. Just remember, weight loss only happens when you are in a overall calorie deficit, no single fruit can do magic.

I have been adding one orange to my daily mid-morning routine for a year now. It keeps me full till lunchtime so I do not crave fried snacks. It is a very safe and healthy habit, but you also have to watch your total daily calorie intake.
