Do fibroids cause weight loss?

I've been diagnosed with fibroids a few months ago, and surprisingly, I've noticed some unexplained weight loss without even trying. Could there be a connection? Do fibroids cause weight loss in some cases?

I actually panicked when I started losing a bit of weight suddenly, thinking it was related to my fibroids. But my doctor reassured me that fibroids usually cause bloating or weight gain, and my weight loss was just due to stress and diet changes. Don't worry too much.

Haan na, actually fibroids se to weight badhta hai ya bloating hoti hai. Weight loss thoda ajeeb hai, maybe stress ki wajah se ho raha hoga. Go see your doctor once.

Usually, fibroids make the stomach look bigger, not smaller. If you are suddenly dropping weight, focus on eating nutrient-dense home-cooked meals, but definitely consult a doctor to find the real reason.

My gynecologist explicitly told me that fibroids are benign muscle tumors that don't cause unexplained weight loss. If a person is losing weight rapidly, it is crucial to investigate other potential gastrointestinal or endocrine issues instead.

With my PCOS, weight issues are common, but from what I know, fibroids don't typically lead to weight loss. If you are losing weight without trying, it is better to get your thyroid or other hormones checked by a professional.

Generally, fibroids don't cause weight loss; they are more known for causing heaviness. Keep your mind calm, feed your body good food, and let the doctors guide you. Everything will work out fine.
