Do early pregnancy cramps feel like period cramps?

I'm trying to conceive and am experiencing some cramps, but I'm not sure if it's my period coming or something else. Do early pregnancy cramps feel just like period cramps, making it hard to tell the difference?

Honestly, they feel very similar but usually a bit milder. I had light pulling sensations during my first few weeks. Don't stress too much, just keep a track on your app and if the pain gets sharp or you see spotting, immediately check with your gynac.

Actually yaar, my wife went through this and she was so confused. She kept thinking her periods are about to start because the cramps felt exactly the same. But then the dates passed and we tested positive. It is super common so chill.

I am feeling these dull aches right now and I'm so scared. Did anyone else feel like their period was literally going to start any second? I keep checking every hour and the anxiety is just killing me.

My wife had mild cramping early on and her doctor told her to monitor it closely, especially since we also manage her blood pressure. Keep your salt intake balanced and don't take any painkiller on your own. It is always better to get a routine checkup done.

Beta, it is completely natural. When the baby is settling in, the uterus stretches and it feels just like your monthly cycle cramps. I tell all the young girls in our family to just rest, drink warm water, and not worry unless there is heavy bleeding.

I am new to all this and a bit hesitant to ask my family. Is it normal if the cramping is only on one side of the lower stomach? I hope it is not something bad, should I go to a clinic or wait for a few days?
