Do d3 and k2 help with weight loss?

I've been taking Vitamin D3 and K2 supplements for bone health and general wellbeing. I saw an article online that vaguely hinted they might also help with weight loss. Is there any truth to this claim, or is it just a rumor?

D3 and K2 are amazing for bone health and energy, which indirectly helps you workout better. If your doctor allows, start with 45 minutes of brisk walking daily along with the supplements. Active muscles burn fat, vitamins just support the process.

At our age, we take D3 just to make sure our knees don't make weird sounds while climbing stairs! It might help your metabolism a little, but don't expect it to melt away those extra parathas. There's no escaping the diet control, alas!

Listen, these vitamins are not weight loss pills. They are meant to correct deficiencies which might be making you feel tired and lazy. Correct the deficiency, get some energy, and start moving. That is how you will lose weight.

Vitamin D deficiency is highly common in thyroid patients and can stall weight loss by slowing you down. D3 and K2 help absorption, but you must get your TSH levels tested first. Always follow up with your doctor for correct dosages.

Many of us with PCOS are very deficient in Vitamin D, which is linked to insulin resistance and weight gain. Taking D3 and K2 helped improve my energy, but I didn't lose weight from them alone. I would suggest getting your levels tested first before starting.

Sitting in the morning sunlight for 15 minutes is the most natural way to get Vitamin D. Supplements like D3 and K2 are good if levels are very low, but always ask a doctor first. For weight loss, a light diet and daily walks are still the best remedies.

My doctor prescribed D3 and K2 because my levels were extremely low, and I was constantly fatigued. Once my levels normalized, I had the energy to resume my gym routine and finally lost some weight. So yes, it helps indirectly by fixing your energy.

No, they don't cause weight loss. K2 helps direct calcium to your bones instead of arteries, and D3 helps absorb it. They are critical for bone health, but for weight loss, you need a caloric deficit, period.

If you are low on Vitamin D, your metabolism will suffer, making weight loss harder. Don't spend hours researching online; just do a quick home blood test for Vitamin D. If it is low, get a prescription and fix it quickly.

Honestly, I took D3 because my bones were always aching after football practice. Didn't notice any weight loss, but my stamina is definitely better now. Don't expect it to be a fat burner, bro.

There is zero clinical proof that D3 and K2 cause direct weight loss. Don't fall for internet wellness trends selling these as diet pills. Get your blood work verified by a medical doctor before putting random supplements in your body.
