Do compression leggings help with weight loss?

I've seen so many fitness influencers wearing compression leggings, and some of them claim it helps with weight loss. Is this true, or is it just a marketing gimmick? I'm trying to get in shape.

My sports physician at Apollo clearly told me that compression leggings do not burn fat or cause weight gain/loss. They are designed for blood circulation and muscle recovery during workouts. Always consult your doctor or therapist about what gear is actually right for your body.

Yaar, compression leggings actually don't help with weight loss at all. They just tuck your tummy in and make you look slim instantly, which is great for photos, but the moment you take them off, you are the same. You still have to do the actual workouts!

I tried all kinds of slimming belts and tight leggings hoping they would melt my thigh fat, but none of it worked. They just make you sweat more in that area, which is just water weight. For actual fat loss, consistent home-cooked meals and portion control are the only real answers.

I researched this before buying expensive gym gear. My doctor explained that compression garments only improve venous blood flow and reduce muscle soreness after exercise. They do not increase your metabolic rate or burn fat. Real weight loss requires a sustained calorie deficit.

I bought a pair because I was worried about my leg circulation and weight. They feel so tight that I was anxious they might restrict my blood flow if I wore them too long. They don't help with weight loss, so don't force yourself to wear them if they feel uncomfortable.

Bro, they don't burn fat. They just hold your muscles tight so you get less fatigue when you run or lift. It's good for workout performance, but if you want to lose weight, you have to focus on your calorie intake and cardio.

I can only speak from my own experience with gym wear, but compression tights didn't help me lose any weight. They did help reduce the leg fatigue I used to feel during long runs. For losing weight, I had to cut out sugar and fast food completely.

I track my active calories on my smartwatch, and wearing compression leggings doesn't show any increase in calorie burn compared to normal track pants. They are great for muscle support and recovery, but they aren't a weight loss shortcut.

Don't waste 2000-3000 rupees on expensive compression leggings expecting to lose weight. Use that money to get a basic thyroid and lipid profile test done for 1200 rupees, which will actually help you plan your fitness journey based on real medical facts.

Don't fall for these expensive trends. Compression leggings are just meant to support your muscles during exercise; they won't melt fat. Just focus on walking daily, eating fresh home food, and staying happy. You don't need fancy clothes to get healthy.
