Do colonics help with weight loss?

I've been trying everything to lose weight, and a friend recently mentioned colonics for detoxification and weight loss. She swears by them. Do colonics actually help with weight loss in any way?

No, they don't help with actual fat loss. Any minor weight change you see on the scale after a colonic is just water and waste weight, which comes back immediately. Focus on tracking your fiber intake and daily steps on your app for real results.

Yaar, colonics are actually so unnecessary for weight loss. It just cleans your bowel temporarily but doesn't affect your body fat at all. It's much better to just drink lots of water and eat oats or papaya for natural digestion.

Colonics carry a real risk of bowel perforation and dehydration, and they do not contribute to physiological weight loss. Please consult a qualified gastroenterologist before undergoing any such invasive procedures to ensure you aren't putting your health at risk.

Let's be real, colonics for weight loss is just a marketing gimmick. It doesn't burn a single gram of fat. Save your money and spend it on a good gym membership or a nutritionist instead of these painful procedures.

When managing PCOS, we often look for quick ways to reduce bloating and weight, but colonics can actually disrupt your gut microbiome. I would be very cautious about this. It's much safer to focus on gut-friendly foods and regular doctor consultations.

I totally get it, when you're struggling to lose weight, you want to try anything that might help. But colonics can be quite harsh on your body and won't help you lose actual fat. Please be gentle with your body and stick to natural diet changes.
