Can you take metformin and topamax together for weight loss?

Struggling with weight loss for a while now, I recently read online about Metformin and Topamax being used for it. I'm wondering if taking them together is a common practice or if it's safe to combine these two medications for weight management.

I was prescribed a combination similar to this by my doctor for metabolic issues, but I had to get regular blood tests done. It is not something you should plan on your own without a doctor's prescription.

Using heavy medications for weight loss can have a lot of side effects. If your doctor allows, focusing on regular brisk walking and a clean diet is much safer and more sustainable in the long run.

Both these medicines require regular consultations and blood monitoring, which can add up in cost. Make sure you plan your medical budget and discuss the actual need for these tests with your doctor.

Please don't experiment with these strong medicines. I once took weight loss pills without proper medical supervision and ended up with severe health issues. Please get a proper checkup first.

Beta, taking such strong English medicines for weight loss is not good for the body. Try walking daily and drinking warm water, but if you must take these pills, consult a big doctor first.
