Can weight loss lower cholesterol?

My recent blood tests showed high cholesterol, and the doctor immediately suggested lifestyle changes, including losing weight. I want to understand if weight loss can directly help lower cholesterol levels.

Haan na, it definitely works! Mere husband ka bad cholesterol bahut high ho gaya tha, par unhone bas thoda walk aur weight loss kiya aur ab reports bilkul normal hain. Doctor bhi khush ho gaye.

Bro same here, my doc literally told me to shed some weight when my lipids came back high. Actually even losing like 4-5 kgs drops your cholesterol levels pretty fast. Just skip the fried stuff for a bit.

It absolutely does. Last year my LDL was through the roof but I lost about 8 kgs through basic cardio and clean eating. Checked again last month and the numbers have improved drastically.

Yes it absolutely can! 🌟 Losing even a little bit of weight goes a long way in bringing down those scary lipid numbers. Keep moving and stay positive, you've got this!

I am also trying to lose weight for this exact reason as my reports got me really worried. Did anyone else here feel dizzy or weak when they first started cutting down on oily foods? Please let me know.

I completely understand how stressful it is to look at high cholesterol numbers on your report. I used to panic constantly too. But trust me, once you start losing weight gradually, those numbers will drop and you will feel much lighter mentally.

Absolutely, it's a proven clinical fact. Losing weight reduces visceral fat, which directly lowers LDL and triglycerides. Keep your lifestyle clean, track your meals, and you won't even need meds.

Haan bhai, hundred percent farak padta hai. Jab aap weight lose karte ho na, toh bad cholesterol kam hota hai aur good cholesterol badhta hai. Bas daily thoda pasina bahana shuru karo.

I can't speak for everyone, but in my case, shedding about 7 kgs helped bring my overall cholesterol levels back into the normal range without any medication. It took time, but my personal experience has been great.

Putar, wazan kam karna sabse zaroori hai. Saath mein subah khali pet thoda garm paani aur methi daana lene se bhi cholesterol kabu mein rehta hai. Par parhez sabse badi dawa hai.

Yes, weight loss is the primary way to manage it naturally. Don't look for quick shortcuts; just focus on eating high-fiber foods like oats and sprouts, walk 45 minutes daily, and give it at least three months to show in reports.

Ab kya batayein, umar ke saath sirf weight badhta hai aur health reports kharab hoti hain. But yes, losing even 5 kgs made my doctor stop lecturing me about my high cholesterol. It really works, even if staying away from samosas is painful.
