Can too much vitamin'd cause weight gain?

My doctor suggested Vitamin D supplements for my overall well-being. While I feel good, I've noticed a steady weight gain since I started them, even with no major diet changes. Can too much Vitamin D really cause weight gain?

Hi! Actually, Vitamin D usually helps with weight management, but if you take too much, it can cause fatigue and muscle weakness. 💤 That might make you less active, leading to some weight gain! Get a quick blood test done just to be safe. 👍

My health tracker showed a sudden drop in my daily steps because I was feeling too fatigued, which turned out to be from Vitamin D toxicity. This drop in activity caused me to gain 2 kgs. Check your daily supplement doses and get a blood test done.

Bro, too much Vitamin D can cause kidney stress and severe bloating due to high calcium, making you feel heavy. If your diet and workout are on track but you are still gaining weight, get your vitamin and kidney levels checked immediately.

People online blame Vitamin D for everything from weight gain to depression. Honestly, weight gain is usually due to diet, stress, or thyroid issues, not just a vitamin. Go see a certified doctor and get a proper diagnosis instead of guessing.

Excess Vitamin D doesn't directly deposit fat, but it causes hypercalcemia. This makes people feel very nauseous, tired, and bloated, which can sometimes look or feel like weight gain. It is best to stop the supplements and consult your general physician.

Actually yaar, I had this same issue where I started feeling super bloated and heavy after taking high doses of Vitamin D. I thought I was getting fat, but it was just water retention and high calcium. Definitely get your levels checked by a doctor, yaar.

In our family, we believe too much of any medicine disrupts the body's natural state. My cousin felt bloated and gained weight when he overdosed on Vitamin D. Our family doctor told him to stop the capsules and just walk in the morning sun.

Oh no, I was just reading about this and got so worried because I have been taking Vitamin D for months! What if it's causing my recent weight gain? I think we both should stop taking these pills immediately and visit a doctor to get tested.
