Can testosterone pellets cause weight gain in women?

A friend of mine was talking about testosterone pellets for menopause symptoms, and I'm considering it. However, I've struggled with weight fluctuations my whole life. Can these testosterone pellets cause weight gain in women?

Haan na, hormones can really mess with our bodies. Many times pellets release a bit too much initially, and that causes sudden bloating and weight gain. Thoda patience rakhna padega, but definitely mention this to your doctor in the next visit.

Actually I am also thinking of getting these pellets suggested by my doc, but now I am scared of the weight gain side effect. Does this weight gain go away on its own after some time? Please share if anyone has used them for more than six months.

I completely understand how stressful it is to watch the scale go up when you are trying to get healthy. Your anxiety is totally valid, hormone changes feel very out of control. Just take a deep breath; often it is just water weight and things do settle down once your body gets used to the pellets.

Yes, they absolutely can cause weight gain because pellets release a continuous dose that might be too high for your system at first. You can't just 'remove' them easily, so you have to manage with clean eating and regular workouts. Call your doctor and get your blood levels checked right away.

Having PCOS has taught me that even a tiny shift in testosterone can cause weight gain and stubborn belly fat. Since everyone's body reacts so differently, I wouldn't want to say it happens to everyone. Just keep a close eye on your symptoms and discuss them gently with your gynecologist.

Hormones and blood pressure are closely linked, and weight gain from pellets can sometimes cause a rise in BP too. I always tell people to monitor their health parameters weekly. Make sure you are maintaining a low-salt diet and getting regular checkups with your specialist.

Aiya! Testosterone can make your appetite shoot through the roof. I remember my friend got these pellets and she was suddenly craving spicy biryani and sweets all day. If you can control those sudden hunger pangs, you might save yourself from the weight gain!

When we put synthetic things in our body, the natural balance gets disturbed, leading to weight gain and heaviness. Try practicing gentle yoga and sheetali pranayama to cool down your body system. It really helps calm the hormonal fluctuations and keeps the mind peaceful.

Look, clear baat hai, if you put hormones from outside, body will react and you might gain some weight initially. Don't panic and stop eating, just focus on home-cooked meals and keep walking. Go meet your doctor, they will explain why it is happening.

Oh God, this is my biggest fear! I keep reading about pellets and worrying that if I get them, I will gain 10 kgs and won't be able to lose it. But please don't lose hope, maybe you can ask your clinic if there is a way to adjust the dose next time. Sending you lots of strength!
