Can okra water help with pregnancy?

I'm trying to conceive, and a friend recently recommended drinking okra water, saying it has many benefits, especially for pregnancy. Can okra water actually help with getting pregnant or support pregnancy?

I read up on this extensively when I was expecting. My gynaecologist told me that while okra is rich in folate and fiber, which are great for maternal health, there is no scientific proof that okra water itself eases labor or helps with pregnancy complications. It is fine to drink, but don't replace your prescribed prenatal vitamins.

It is a very gentle home remedy that many elders suggest. If you feel comfortable drinking it, you can, but please make sure it is washed properly and consult your doctor first. Wishing you a very safe and happy pregnancy.

In our times, we used to eat bhindi regularly for its cooling and digestive benefits during pregnancy. Drinking bhindi water can help with constipation as it has good fiber, but you must make sure it is freshly prepared and hygienic. Do ask your doctor before starting any new daily routine.

When I was pregnant with my thyroid issues, I realized that relying on home remedies like okra water isn't enough. You need regular blood tests and strict follow-ups with your doctor to make sure your levels are perfect for the baby. Always prioritize medical advice over nuskhas.

I had high blood pressure during my pregnancy, so my doctor kept me on a very strict diet and regular BP monitoring. While okra water is healthy, it cannot replace your regular checkups or medical monitoring. Keep a close eye on your vitals and follow your doctor's charts strictly.

Haan na, everyone on social media is talking about bhindi water these days for pregnancy! But honestly, eating a balanced diet is much better, ho na? Don't force yourself to drink that slimy water if you don't like it. Just listen to what your gynaecologist says.

Did anyone else feel slightly nauseous after drinking okra water? My neighbor suggested it for an easy delivery, but the slimy texture makes me want to throw up. I am so scared of doing anything that might affect my baby. Is it really necessary to drink this?
