Can keto diet cause diabetes?

Saw some reels about the keto diet and its benefits, but my uncle has diabetes. I'm concerned if following a keto diet could actually lead to developing diabetes later on.

My son wanted to try keto for weight loss, but our family doctor strictly advised against it. He said that restricting carbs so drastically can sometimes cause the liver to produce excess glucose, which isn't good. Please be careful and focus on balanced meals instead of extreme diets.

Bro, don't stress too much about these trendy diets. Keto usually helps lower blood sugar initially, but doing it long-term can make your body less efficient at processing carbs when you eat them again. Just eat clean, moderate your rice and roti, and you will be perfectly fine!

Beta, yeh keto-sheto ke chakkar mein mat pado. Hamare purane buzurg bolte hain ki dal, sabji, aur thodi roti khana hi sabse badhiya hai. Sharir ko sab cheez ki zaroorat hoti hai, kisi ek cheez ko bilkul band mat karo.

Our bodies are beautiful instruments that function best with natural, balanced nourishment. Extreme deprivation or forcing the body into unusual states like ketosis often creates internal imbalance. Stay positive, eat mindfully, and listen to what your body naturally asks for.

Actually, keto won't directly cause diabetes, yaar, but it can cause temporary insulin resistance because your body gets used to zero carbs. Honestly, the moment you eat a sweet or pizza after keto, your sugar level might shoot up. It is better to just do portion control.
