Can jumping cause miscarriage in early pregnancy?

Just found out I'm pregnant, and being only in my early weeks, I'm very careful about everything. Yesterday, I accidentally jumped a little to avoid something, and now I'm extremely worried. Can jumping cause a miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy?

Early pregnancy is extremely delicate, so please avoid any high-impact movements like jumping. If you have done this recently and are feeling any mild cramps or spotting, go get it checked by your gynac immediately. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

My sister was super scared about this during her first trimester too. Her doctor told her that normal small hops or slips don't instantly cause harm because the baby is well-cushioned. But yeah, doing rigorous workouts or jumping jacks is definitely a big no-no.

High-impact jumping can cause unnecessary uterine contractions, which you should completely avoid in the first trimester. If you are working or traveling, manage your schedule to avoid jerky roads or stairs. If you have any sudden severe pain or bleeding, book an emergency doctor consult immediately.

Oh god, please stay away from jumping or any heavy exercises right now! You will get plenty of sleepless nights and tiring workouts once the baby actually arrives, trust me. For now, just lie down, rest as much as you can, and take it easy.

The baby is quite secure inside the amniotic sac, but jumping can create unnecessary pressure on the cervix. In early pregnancy, it is best to stick to light walks and avoid jerky movements. If you notice any fluid leaking or sharp lower belly pain, go to the hospital right away.

Don't panic, but stop doing any heavy physical activity. Instead of worrying, go for a quick ultrasound scan to make sure everything is perfect, which usually costs around 1000 to 1500 rupees in local clinics. Planning these small expenses early saves a lot of mental stress later.
