Can i skip a week of ozempic for weight loss?

I've been taking Ozempic as prescribed for weight loss, and it's been working well. However, I'm going on a short trip next week and might not be able to take my dose. Is it okay to skip a week of Ozempic and then resume, or will it affect its effectiveness?

Skipping prescription medication on your own is highly risky. Don't follow random weight loss shortcuts from internet forums. Talk to your endocrinologist directly before modifying your dose schedule.

I had to miss a week due to travel delays. Honestly, my appetite came back with a vengeance and I felt quite bloated when I restarted. If you must skip, ask your doctor how to safely manage the next dose.

I totally get it, sometimes the nausea or side effects make you want to take a break. But skipping a week can mess up your blood sugar levels and progress. Please check with your doc first to see if they can adjust the dosage instead.

Better not to skip it. Skipping a dose can cause your hunger to bounce back sharply and trigger blood sugar spikes.

Please take care of your body with patience and love. Changing medicine routines suddenly can upset the body's natural balance. Stay positive and consult your doctor to find a gentle path forward.
