Can i drink sparkling water during pregnancy?

My regular water intake has gone down a bit, and I thought sparkling water might help. I wanted to check if it's considered safe for me to drink during pregnancy. Are there any hidden risks?

Haan, sparkling water is completely fine to drink and is actually great if you are feeling nauseous. Just add a little pudina or ginger juice to it at home. It settled my stomach instantly during my pregnancy days.

Yes, sparkling water is absolutely safe. It is literally just carbonated water with no sugar or caffeine. Just check the label to ensure there are no added artificial sweeteners or weird chemicals.

Yes, it is perfectly safe to drink. It actually helps quite a bit with morning sickness, so don't worry about it.

Actually, my gynaecologist told me that plain sparkling water is perfectly fine, but I should avoid brands with high sodium levels. Some mineral-heavy carbonated waters can cause extra bloating or water retention, so check the sodium content.

Sparkling water is a great zero-calorie alternative if you are missing fizzy drinks. Just make sure you are still drinking enough plain water to stay hydrated, especially if you are working out or doing light prenatal yoga.
