Can early pregnancy cause diarrhoea?

In my very early weeks of pregnancy, I've been experiencing some episodes of diarrhoea. I thought constipation was more common. Is it normal to have diarrhoea as an early pregnancy symptom?

Yes, but be careful with what you eat right now. Stick to simple home-cooked vegetarian food like khichdi, buttermilk, and avoid any oily outer food to let your stomach heal naturally.

Yes, hormonal surges can trigger diarrhea. Just track how many times you are going. If it exceeds 3-4 times in a day, drop everything and call your gynaecologist immediately.

It happens. I had to manage office while dealing with this in my first month. Carry electrolyte packets to work and tell your doctor so they can give you a safe, quick-acting medicine.

Please dont try random home remedies you read online. Diarrhea in early pregnancy can lead to dehydration quickly, which isn't good. Get a direct prescription from your doctor.

In our times, many young women went through this. The body is adjusting to a big change, so don't get scared. Just drink boiled and cooled water with a pinch of salt and sugar.

Actually, stomachupsets are super common during early pregnancy, yaar. The hormones fluctuate so much that your digestion goes for a toss. Just keep sipping water so you dont feel weak.

I ignored severe stomach upset in my third month thinking it was just normal pregnancy changes, but it was a bad infection that put me in the hospital. Please get it checked by your doctor right away.
