Can diet affect thyroid?

My sister was recently diagnosed with a thyroid condition, and she's been very careful about her food. I'm wondering if what we eat can really impact the thyroid gland's function. Does diet play a big role?

Diet is definitely a major factor in managing thyroid function. Getting enough selenium, zinc, and iodine through whole foods can support your thyroid health. Combine a clean, balanced diet with regular strength training to keep your metabolism active.

While diet is important, please do not try to treat thyroid issues entirely through food. If you are experiencing sudden weight changes or extreme fatigue, get a proper TSH blood test. A doctor's guidance and prescription are necessary for thyroid management.

Yes, a healthy diet supports thyroid function, especially avoiding highly processed foods that trigger inflammation. However, diet alone cannot replace thyroid hormone medication if you have a true deficiency. Keep taking your morning pill on an empty stomach and maintain a healthy meal routine.

Ah, thyroid—the reason why I look at a gulab jamun and gain two kilos! Diet definitely affects it, and raw cruciferous veggies like cabbage can apparently interfere if you eat too much of them. Best to keep a balance and laugh off the slow metabolism sometimes.

Haan, diet ka kafi bada role hota hai thyroid mein. Iodine namak toh khana hi chahiye, par processed sugar aur maida bilkul band karna padta hai isme. Lekin checkup lagatar karwate rehna chahiye, sirf diet se fully control nahi hota na.
