Can cannabis help with weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I hear all sorts of tips and tricks. A friend of mine mentioned that cannabis might help with weight loss. Is this true, or would it just increase my appetite?

There's no clinical backing to show that cannabis aids weight loss; in fact, it often increases appetite. Weight loss is best achieved through a balanced calorie deficit and exercise. Always consult a nutritionist or doctor before trying such methods.

Beta, for losing weight, waking up early and drinking warm water with lemon or cumin seeds is very helpful. Do not rely on cannabis and such harmful habits. Safe, daily physical work and eating simple home food is the true path.

I would be very careful with this. Trying cannabis for weight loss can affect your blood pressure and heart rate unexpectedly. Please consult a qualified doctor and get your routine blood work done before experimenting with anything.

Losing weight takes time and it is a journey. Please don't stress too much or run after quick fixes like cannabis. Just take small, healthy steps every day and you will definitely see progress. Take care.

Dealing with weight struggle is so hard, especially with PCOS, so I totally feel you. But cannabis might just mess up your hormones further instead of helping. I found that eating high protein and managing my sleep worked much better for me.

Hi dear, weight loss is all about a healthy lifestyle, not short cuts. Cannabis can actually trigger cravings, making it harder to control what you eat. Try focusing on eating mindfully and doing 30 minutes of daily activity instead.

Don't fall for these internet fitness trends claiming cannabis burns fat. It is mostly marketing or unverified talk. If you want to lose weight safely, make a plan with a certified dietitian and verify everything with your doctor first.

My family physician specifically told me that there is no regulatory approval or solid medical evidence for using cannabis for weight reduction. It can actually cause metabolic changes and increase anxiety. A structured diet plan is the only safe way.
