Can anyone take ozempic for weight loss?

My sister's doctor prescribed Ozempic for her diabetes, and she also lost some weight. I'm struggling with my weight and curious if I can also use it. Can anyone take Ozempic for weight loss, or is it only for specific medical conditions?

Bro definitely not just anyone can jump on it. My cousin took it and had terrible nausea for weeks. It is actually meant for diabetes management, so don't take it casually without a proper doctor's prescription.

I read about it online and thought wow, a magic cure for my midnight sweet cravings! But my doc said no way, it is a serious medicine with side effects. Better to control our portion sizes of jalebis instead of relying on injections.

Same here, I was looking into this too. It is absolutely not for everyone and has many safety warnings, so please consult an endocrinologist first before planning anything.

No, it is not a general weight loss supplement. Even if someone takes it under medical supervision, they will lose muscle mass if they don't do strength training and eat enough protein. Hard work in the gym and a clean calorie deficit is still key.

I have been googling this all week because everyone on social media is talking about it. From what I found, it can cause severe stomach issues and isn't approved for casual cosmetic weight loss in India. Anyone considering it should talk to a specialist.
