Can acupuncture help with weight loss?

I've been trying to lose weight for a while now without much success. My neighbor, who lost a lot of weight, told me she tried acupuncture as part of her routine. Can acupuncture actually help with weight loss efforts?

Listen, let's be very honest. No amount of acupuncture will help you lose weight if you keep eating junk food every day. It might help with stress or cravings slightly, but the real work is always proper diet and exercise. Go talk to a dietician first.

I used to panic about my sudden weight gain and tried all sorts of therapies, including acupuncture. It was actually very reassuring because it helped reduce my stress levels, which stopped my emotional eating. Don't worry, just use it as a support tool alongside a good gym routine.

It can help by targeting points that curb your appetite and lower stress! 🧘‍♀️ But you still need to keep moving and eating your veggies. It's a great addition to your fitness journey, just check with a health professional first!

I have tried everything from warm honey-lemon water to herbal teas for my weight. Acupuncture did help a bit with my digestion and stress, but real weight loss only happened when I controlled my portions. It's a practical support, but consult a doctor for a proper diet plan.

With my PCOS, weight loss is a slow journey and I'm always cautious about trying alternative methods. Acupuncture did help me feel more relaxed and improved my sleep, but it wasn't a magic weight loss cure. Please consult your doctor to manage any underlying hormonal issues first.
