Can a stationary bike help with weight loss?

I recently bought a stationary bike to exercise at home since I don't have time to go to the gym. My main goal is to lose some weight. Can using a stationary bike regularly actually help me achieve significant weight loss?

Actually yaar, it works wonders! I bought a basic stationary cycle during lockdown and did 30 minutes daily while watching Netflix. It really helps burn calories without putting too much pressure on your knees.

Definitely, cycling is a solid cardio workout. But remember, weight loss is 80% about your diet and being in a calorie deficit. Use the bike for cardio fitness, but make sure you are tracking your daily food intake as well.

It definitely helps, especially if you have joint pain and can't go out for long walks. I lost a few kilos by cycling slowly for 20 minutes and drinking warm ajwain water in the morning. Just be consistent and don't push your body too hard initially.

Yes, cycling gently is a wonderful way to keep the body active and flowing. It builds lower body strength and stamina. Pair it with daily deep breathing exercises to keep your metabolism balanced and your mind stress-free.

A stationary bike is an excellent low-impact cardiovascular exercise that aids in weight loss by increasing your daily calorie burn. However, if you have any chronic lower back or knee issues, it's best to consult a physiotherapist or doctor before starting a high-intensity cycling routine.

I have seen many people in our community buy expensive exercise bikes only for them to become clothes stands! Yes, it works great for weight loss, but only if you actually use it daily. Start with just 15 minutes a day and build a regular habit.
