Are wraps good for weight loss?

Trying to cut down on carbs and lose some weight these days. I usually have sandwiches for lunch, but I saw some 'healthy' wraps in the supermarket and was thinking of trying them. Are wraps actually good for weight loss compared to other options?

I understand how stressful it is when you are trying to lose weight and every meal feels like a test. Wraps can be great if you make them at home with portion control, so don't worry, you can definitely include them in your diet journey.

My teenage son wanted to eat outside wraps every day for fitness. I started making them at home using multigrain rotis, lots of grilled paneer, and homemade green chutney instead of heavy mayonnaise. It is healthy, filling, and much better for weight management.

I totally get it, finding satisfying diet options is so hard. Wraps can be a lifesaver if you pack them with lean protein and veggies, but just be careful with readymade store sauces as they are loaded with hidden calories.

Many people make the mistake of buying 'diet wraps' from cafes which are actually made of maida and packed with oily dressings. The best approach is to make a simple egg or chickpea wrap at home where you can control the oil and ingredients.

Yaar, don't stress too much about the word 'wrap'! At the end of the day, a wrap is just a roll. If you use a thin whole-wheat roti and skip the heavy cheese, it is actually a super awesome and easy meal for weight loss.

I always worry if the wheat tortilla has too many hidden carbs that will ruin my progress. But actually, if you focus on adding plenty of high-fiber veggies inside, it keeps you full for longer. Just watch out for the size of the wrap.
