Are waffles healthy for weight loss?

Trying to lose some weight, I'm constantly looking for breakfast ideas. I love waffles, but I'm not sure if they can be considered healthy, especially for someone on a weight loss journey. Are there ways to make them suitable for my diet plan?

Bro, honestly, regular waffles are loaded with maida and sugary syrup, so not the best choice for weight loss. But don't stress too much! You can make oats or ragi waffles at home occasionally and enjoy them guilt-free.

Usually, outside waffles have a lot of butter and refined flour, which won't help your weight goals. If you really crave them, try preparing a healthy version at home using whole wheat flour or millet batter and a little honey.

Arey beta, these fancy foods have too much sugar and maida, which is not good for reducing weight. Homemade cheela or daliya is much better for health and keeps you full for a long time.

Agreed, regular ones are not good. Try making them with protein powder or banana at home if you want a healthier alternative.

Definitely not healthy if you buy them from cafes, they are just empty calories. If you are busy, it’s much faster and healthier to have oats or eggs for breakfast. Save waffles for a rare cheat meal.

As someone managing diabetes, I avoid them completely because they cause major sugar spikes. Even for weight loss, refined flour and sweet toppings will slow down your progress. Best to stick to traditional fiber-rich foods.
