Are tacos good for weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and trying to explore different cuisines. Tacos seem like a fun option, but I want to make sure they're not going to derail my progress. Are tacos good for weight loss?

I just started my weight loss journey and I really love Mexican food. If I make tacos at home with very little oil and lots of cucumber and tomato, will they still be considered good for weight loss? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Haan, bilkul acche ho sakte hain, par depend karta hai tum andar kya bhar rahe ho na. Agar cheese aur creamy mayo bharoge toh weight gain hi hoga. Bas boiled chicken ya paneer aur khub saari salad dalo, fir toh badhiya option hai.

With PCOS, weight loss is very slow, so I have to be careful with gluten and dairy. I make tacos with gluten-free corn tortillas and lots of avocado instead of cheese. It works well for my body, but everyone's hormonal health is different so see what suits you.

I totally get it, craving your favorite foods while trying to lose weight is so tough. Tacos can actually be quite healthy if you swap the fried shells for baked corn ones or even lettuce wraps. You don't have to give up on taste completely to stay on track.

Tacos are highly customizable, which makes them great for tracking. If you use MyFitnessPal, just log 2 corn tortillas, grill some chicken breast, add salsa, and you get a high-protein, moderate-carb meal under 350 calories. It's a great fat-loss meal!
