Are sardines good for weight loss?

Heard sardines are packed with protein and omega-3s. I was wondering if they are good to include in my diet while I'm on a weight loss journey.

I can only speak from my own diet journey, but eating canned sardines in water really helped me stay full during my lunch hours. It is very high in protein which kept my cravings away.

I barely have the energy to boil water, but canned sardines are a lifesaver because you just open the tin and eat. Healthy, cheap, and saves me from ordering pizza at midnight.

Yes, they are excellent for shedding weight. Just make sure you are buying the ones canned in water or olive oil, not soybean oil, and watch your total portion size because the calories can add up.

For non-vegetarians, sardines are definitely a very lean protein choice. Just be careful with the sodium content in canned varieties, as excess salt can cause water retention and bloating.

Sardines have healthy fats which are generally good for managing inflammation in PCOS, but weight loss can be complicated. I'd suggest checking with your gynecologist or nutritionist to see how it fits your specific hormone profile.

My gym trainer suggested adding sardines to my diet to get shredded. They are actually pretty cheap compared to other fish, so they fit my pocket money budget perfectly.
