Are rice noodles healthy for weight loss?

Trying to eat healthier and lose some weight, I often enjoy noodles. I've seen rice noodles as an alternative to wheat noodles. Are they considered a healthy option for weight loss, or is it better to stick to other grains?

Rice noodles are gluten-free and slightly lower in calories than egg noodles, but they have very little protein and fiber. If you are aiming for weight loss, you need nutrients that keep you full. It is always best to consult a clinical nutritionist to see how to balance carbs in your diet.

I know how stressful it is to worry about every single carb on your plate when you are trying to lose weight. Rice noodles aren't inherently bad, but they digest very quickly. Try to pair them with a good protein source to keep your anxiety and hunger levels in check.

I used to feel so frustrated trying to eat 'diet' foods like rice noodles only to feel starving and angry an hour later. It is exhausting to constantly fight hunger. Don't restrict yourself too much, try adding lots of chicken and veggies to your noodles so you actually feel satisfied.

I was researching noodle alternatives for my fat loss diet and noticed rice noodles are basically just refined carbs. They have almost no fiber to help with digestion. It seems like whole wheat or millet noodles are a much better option for staying full.

My mother always tells me that traditional food like brown rice or ragi is best for fitness. Rice noodles are very light but they don't sustain you for long, so you might end up overeating later. My doctor also advised choosing whole grain options for sustainable weight loss.
