Are quesadillas good for weight loss?

I love quesadillas, but I'm also trying to eat healthier and lose some weight. I'm wondering if I can still enjoy them without sabotaging my efforts. Can quesadillas be a part of a weight loss diet, or are they generally too high in calories?

My nutritionist explained that standard quesadillas are high in saturated fats and refined flour because of the cheese and white tortillas. If you want to include them in a weight loss plan, use whole wheat or oats tortillas, limit the cheese, and load them with lean protein like paneer or chicken.

I get so stressed trying to calculate the calories in cheese and tortillas, it makes me feel like I can't eat anything! If you really crave them, maybe try a very small portion once a week so you don't feel deprived but still stay on track.

Honestly, if you buy them outside, they are fat bombs. I make a diet version at home using multi-grain roti, low-fat paneer, and lots of capsicum. It tastes great and keeps me under my daily calorie target easily.

I used to panic thinking even one bite of cheese would ruin my entire diet plan! But I realized moderation is key. Eating a homemade quesadilla once in a while is totally fine and won't stop your weight loss progress.

Bro, quesadillas are super tasty but the hostel ones are just loaded with cheese and oil. Definitely not great if you are trying to lose weight. Better stick to normal chapati and dal on weekdays.

Generally speaking, typical restaurant quesadillas have too much butter and cheese to be considered a weight-loss food. But if you make them at home using very little oil, fresh veggies, and a small sprinkle of cheese, they can be a healthy, balanced meal.

In our days we didn't have these foreign dishes, but we ate simple stuffed rotis. A quesadilla is very similar, but the excess cheese is the main issue. Eat simple, less oily food, and your weight will stay in control naturally.
