Are prunes good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight after my pregnancy and focusing on healthier snacks. My mother keeps telling me to eat prunes for digestion, but I'm worried about their calorie content. Are prunes something I should include for weight loss, ya phir no?

Prunes have good fiber which keeps you full, but they alone won't reduce weight. You need to combine it with a daily 30-minute brisk walk or light exercise if your doctor has cleared you for it. Focus on the overall calorie deficit along with these small additions.

Actually prunes are super sweet, so they are great when you get those crazy sugar cravings. But don't eat too many yaar, otherwise calories target hit ho jayega. Just one or two are enough to satisfy the sweet tooth without messing up your diet.

I tried eating prunes during my gym phase last year. Honestly, they helped me stay full and solved my digestion issues, which is nice. But they have good amount of sugar, so if you eat them like regular snacks, you will gain weight instead of losing it.

Prunes are not a magic weight loss food. They are just high-fiber dried plums that help clear your stomach. Keep your portions in check, track your daily calories, and you will see results. Simple as that.

Yes, they can be helpful because the high fiber content helps with digestion and keeps hunger away for a bit. Just try having them as a small afternoon snack. I hope this helps you in your journey.

Prunes are natural and great for digestion, which indirectly helps weight loss by keeping your gut clean. But if your weight gain is sudden or due to hormonal issues, please don't just rely on home remedies. Better to see a doctor and get your blood work done.
