Are protein shakes good for weight loss?

Trying to lose some post-pregnancy weight, I heard protein shakes could be useful for managing hunger and supporting muscle. Are they really effective for reducing weight, or is it better to stick to whole foods only?

Haan, weight loss me help to milti hai kyunki shake peene ke baad kaafi der tak bhook nahi lagti. Par iska matlab ye nahi ki baki meals me heavy paranthe khao na. Diet manage karni padegi.

When I joined a weight management program at our local hospital, the clinical dietician told me that shakes only help if you are in a calorie deficit. Please ask your doctor clearly before substituting meals with protein drinks.

They are definitely a great way to curb sweet cravings! A cold chocolate whey shake keeps me full and happy. Just don't add extra sugar or heavy cream. 🥤

They are helpful to preserve lean muscle while you lose fat. Just watch out for added sugars in commercial shakes. Also, make sure you don't have any underlying kidney issues before starting high protein diets.

They do help, but buying good quality protein powder every month can get very expensive. I prefer budgeting for simple foods like boiled eggs and black chana first, and using shakes only when I'm too busy to cook.
