Are perfect bars good for weight loss?

I'm always on the go and looking for convenient, healthy snacks that can help with my weight loss goals. I saw these 'perfect bars' advertised and wondered if they are genuinely a good option for shedding kilos.

They are very heavy on the pocket and actually have quite a lot of calories because of the honey and peanut butter. For weight loss, a handful of roasted chana or a boiled egg is a much cheaper and simpler practical option.

These modern protein bars are fine for convenience, but fresh, natural foods carry the best energy for the body. Eat them occasionally if you are traveling, but try to rely on simple home-cooked meals for long-term health. Take care of your well-being.

They contain good quality ingredients like nut butter and organic powder, but the calorie count is high. Eating them in moderation can fit into your diet. All the best with your fitness journey.

I used to eat them thinking they were diet food, but each bar has over 300 calories! That is almost a small meal. If you want to use them for weight loss, you have to eat only half a bar as a snack, or use it to completely replace breakfast, not in addition to it.

With thyroid, I have to watch my sugar intake very closely, and those bars actually have a decent amount of added sugar from honey. If you have any underlying hormonal issues affecting your weight, do get your regular blood tests done and consult your doctor about your diet.

I always prefer natural snacks like almonds, walnuts, or fresh fruits which are much better for weight loss. Also, if your weight gain is sudden or accompanied by severe fatigue or hormone changes, please see a doctor rather than just changing snacks.
