Are meal replacement shakes good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose weight quickly for an upcoming event, and I've seen many people use meal replacement shakes. Do these shakes actually work for effective weight loss, or are they just a temporary fix? I want to know if they're a good option.

Honestly, they might help you lose weight, but they also help you lose your will to live! Drinking chalky powder while everyone else is eating biryani is just sad. Real food in moderation is way better and happier!

I once replaced two meals a day with these shakes to lose weight quickly. I ignored the constant fatigue and stomach pain until I collapsed at work and found out my kidneys were strained from extreme protein intake. Please don't bypass real doctors and tests for quick fixes.

While meal replacement shakes can create a calorie deficit, they are not a sustainable long-term solution. They often lack the complex micronutrients found in whole foods. It is highly recommended to consult a clinical dietitian to design a balanced meal plan instead.

Ghar ka sadha khana jaise dal, chawal, aur sabji hi sabse accha hota hai. Yeh sab dukan ka powder wala doodh peene se thodi der bhook dab sakti hai, par sharir kamzor ho jayega. Apni sehat ka dhyan rakhein.

My physician clearly explained that these shakes are often marketed with hidden sugars and chemical thickeners. He advised that relying on them can mess up our metabolism in the long run. He recommended focusing on portion control with natural, high-fiber foods instead.
