Are lollipops bad for weight loss?

I'm on a diet to lose weight, but I have a terrible sweet tooth. Sometimes I just want something small like a lollipop. Are lollipops really bad for weight loss, or can I have one occasionally without ruining my progress?

Don't believe anyone who says sugar-free lollipops are some magical diet trick to curb hunger. Sugar is sugar, and artificial sweeteners can also mess up your gut health. If you are serious about a weight loss diet, consult a certified dietitian instead of following random online hacks.

Lollipops are basically 100% pure sugar and empty calories with absolutely no nutritional value. Eating them will only spike your insulin levels and make you crave more food later. It is much better to satisfy your sweet tooth with a small apple or a few grapes.

It is all about the total calories at the end of the day, honestly. One lollipop won't ruin your progress, but since it is just pure sugar, it won't keep you full at all. If you want to lose fat, focus on whole foods and hitting your daily protein target first.

Haan, lollipops toh pure sugar hi hoti hain na, toh weight loss ke liye bilkul acche nahi hain. Kabhi kabaar ek kha liya toh thik hai, par ise craving dabane ka tarika mat banao. Thoda fruits kha lo jab meetha khane ka mann kare.

Honestly, don't stress too much about eating a lollipop once in a while. Obviously they aren't 'healthy' diet foods, but depriving yourself completely just leads to binge eating later. Just enjoy one occasionally and focus on moving more during the day.
