Are figs good for weight loss?

Trying to improve my diet and lose a few kilos. I heard that figs are very nutritious. Would adding figs to my diet be beneficial for weight loss, or should I be careful about how much I eat?

Figs can be a part of your diet because they are rich in fiber, but they are also quite high in natural sugars. When I went for my annual checkup, my doctor clearly advised me to limit my portion size of dried fruits to avoid excess calorie intake.

I love having two soaked figs in the morning! They are so high in fiber that they keep me full for a long time, which stops me from snacking on junk before lunch. They are definitely great for weight loss if you control the portion.

Figs are very good for metabolic health and constipation, but keep in mind that slow weight loss can sometimes be linked to hormonal issues like thyroid. It's always best to get regular blood tests done and discuss your diet plan with a doctor.

Yes, they are highly beneficial because the high fiber content aids digestion and keeps you satiated. However, dried figs (anjeer) are very calorie-dense compared to fresh ones, so make sure you don't eat more than 2-3 pieces a day.

Honestly, they are a lifesaver when you have a massive sweet tooth but are trying to stay fit! Instead of eating pastries, having a couple of dried figs completely satisfies my sweet cravings without loading up on junk fats.

Figs are excellent 'Sattvik' foods that cleanse your system and improve digestion, which naturally supports weight loss. Soaking two dried figs overnight and eating them mindfully in the morning helps maintain a clean, active gut.
