Are factor meals good for weight loss?

My work schedule is hectic, and I don't always have time to cook healthy meals, but I really want to lose weight. I've seen some companies advertising pre-packaged 'factor meals' for diet plans. Are these types of diet meals really good for weight loss?

In my opinion, home-cooked fresh dal, roti, and green vegetables are the best for healthy weight loss rather than packaged meals. Natural fresh food is always safest. However, if you are struggling with extreme fatigue or sudden weight issues, do consult a doctor to check for underlying problems.

Beta, packaged foods that stay in the fridge for days can never match the goodness of fresh, warm home-cooked meals. If you want to lose weight, eat simple khichdi, drink warm water, and avoid these processed boxed meals. Our traditional ways are always best for long-term health.

Factor meals can be helpful for portion control since they are calorie-counted, which is good for busy schedules. However, they can be high in sodium and preservatives, so long-term reliance may not be ideal. It is always best to consult a certified clinical nutritionist to design a sustainable plan for your body.

Yes, they can work for weight loss because the portion sizes are strictly controlled, but make sure to drink plenty of water to offset the sodium.

Based on nutritional data, Factor meals are high in protein and low in refined carbs, which supports fat loss. However, my doctor mentioned that consuming processed packaged meals regularly can sometimes lead to mild digestive issues due to lack of fresh enzymes. He advises combining them with fresh salads.

Since I manage diabetes, I am very careful about any packaged food because of hidden sugars and starches in sauces. Factor meals have low-carb options, but you must read the labels very carefully. I always recommend monitoring your blood sugar closely if you start these meal plans.

I always worry so much about the high sodium and preservatives in these pre-packaged meal deliveries, I feel like they might harm my liver or digestion! They do help with calories, but I'm too anxious about eating boxed food daily. Maybe try them a few times but keep checking how your stomach feels.
