Are deviled eggs good for weight loss?
I'm trying to lose some weight and looking for snack ideas. A friend suggested deviled eggs, but I'm not sure if they fit into a weight loss plan. Can you tell me if they are a good option?

My son wanted to lose weight and started eating these as a high-protein snack. They are great for keeping hunger away, but you have to watch the ingredients. We started making them with low-fat hung curd instead of heavy mayonnaise to keep the calories down.
Though I am vegetarian myself, I know from my gym friends that eggs help with protein. But deviled eggs can easily become very high-calorie because of the fillings. If you are tracking calories, just be very careful about how much fat you add.
Before starting any high-protein diet like this, please check with a qualified dietician. What works for one person might cause cholesterol issues or kidney strain for another. It's always better to get a proper diet plan based on your health.
They can be a decent part of your diet because of the high protein, but don't add too much salt or salty sauces. Since I have high BP, I have to be very careful with salt intake and lifestyle balance. Keep getting your routine health checks done.
