Are cramps ok in early pregnancy?

I'm in my initial weeks of pregnancy and have been feeling some mild, intermittent cramping. It's not severe, but it's making me anxious. Is it normal to have some cramps during early pregnancy, or is it a sign of something wrong?

My wife had mild stomach cramps during her first month and we got super worried. The doctor told us minor cramping is totally normal as the uterus expands. But definitely go for a checkup if the pain gets severe or if there is any bleeding.

Humare ghar me bhi sabko shuruaat me thoda dard hota tha, body badal rahi hoti hai na. Aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye, par aaram zaroor kariye. Agar dard zyada bade ya khoon dikhe, toh turant doctor ke paas jana chahiye.

My elders always told me to drink warm milk and rest when mild cramps happen in the early days. It is very natural as the body prepares itself. Still, we must trust the scan reports and doctor's advice first, so do inform your doctor.

Pregnancy involves a lot of planned expenses, but healthcare is not something we should compromise on. If the cramps are mild, it is usually normal. But if they are severe, don't wait to save money on clinic fees; go see a doctor immediately.
