Are berberine patches good for weight loss?

I've been struggling to lose weight despite exercising, and I saw an ad for berberine patches for weight loss. Do these patches actually work, or are they just a gimmick?

Honestly, don't buy these patches randomly online. I go to Max Hospital here and my doctor told me that weight loss supplements or patches aren't fully regulated, so you never know what's inside. Please ask a proper doctor before putting anything on your body.

Beta, these new modern things like patches can be risky for health. Everyday home food, a regular evening walk, and warm water are much safer. Take care of yourself and don't spend too much money on these fast shortcuts.

Actually I was also searching about this last night because I saw an ad. But I feel very scared of side effects like stomach upset or skin rashes. Has anyone here actually tried these patches and faced any issues? Please share, I am super confused.

According to my fitness tracker app data, nothing beats a consistent calorie deficit and daily steps. Berberine patches sound trendy but there is very little scientific tracking to show they actually absorb well through the skin. Better to stick to clean eating and log your daily meals instead.

I have PCOS and I know how desperate we get to lose weight, so I totally understand the temptation. I read about berberine pills being used under medical guidance, but these patches are very new and untested. Don't experiment on your own, especially if your hormones are already a bit sensitive.

I agree with others here. These patches are mostly marketing gimmicks, so it is better to consult a dietician for a proper meal plan.

Pls don't try these self-treatment patches. I once ignored my rising weight and tried random internet detox drinks, which completely messed up my liver enzymes. Go to a clinic, get your blood tests done first to see why you are gaining weight, then treat the real cause.
