Would cancer show up in a blood test?

My father recently had some abnormal blood results, and he's quite concerned it might be something serious. Can cancer generally be detected through a routine blood test? We are waiting for more tests, but I wanted to understand this better.

Honestly, bhai, don't ignore anything. Mere saath bhi hua tha, small symptoms jo maine light le liye. Later it turned out to be something serious, thankfully not cancer but still, learned my lesson. Better to get it checked by a doc, blood test is just one part, they might suggest more.

It's tricky. Some types of cancer can show certain markers in blood tests, but it's not a definitive diagnosis for most. You'll likely need further investigations like imaging or a biopsy if a doctor suspects something. Don't waste time self-diagnosing, just consult a specialist.

Hey, chill yaar! Don't stress too much just yet. Blood tests can indicate some things, but they aren't usually enough to confirm cancer. A doctor will know what tests are needed based on your symptoms. Just book an appointment and get clarity, ok?

Yeah, some markers show up in blood, but it's not a direct 'cancer' test for most types. Be prepared that the doc might ask for more advanced scans or tests after that, which can be costly. So plan your finances and maybe check if your health insurance covers diagnostics. But first, see the doc.

Beta, blood test toh ek shuruwat hai. Kahi baar, bade bimariyon ka pata aise chalta hai, par akela blood test sab nahi batata. Ache doctor ko dikhao aur jo woh kahe wahi karo. Apni taraf se zyada soch ke pareshan mat ho.

I had a similar scare last year, thought every little ache was something serious. Got some blood tests done, and while they can flag certain things, a comprehensive check-up is always better. Most of the time it turns out to be nothing serious, so try not to overthink it.
