Will ct show stroke?

My father had a sudden collapse yesterday and the doctor is suggesting a CT scan. We are all quite worried and just want to know if this scan will confirm if it was a stroke or not.

Yes, a CT scan is definitely one of the primary imaging tests used to detect a stroke, especially in an emergency. It can quickly show if it's an ischemic stroke (blockage) or a hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding). Timely diagnosis with CT is crucial for treatment. My fitness app also sometimes gives basic info on signs of stroke, which makes me more aware.

Beta, stroke is a very serious matter. Agar kisi ko aisi koi takleef ho, toh ghar pe mat baitho, seedha bade hospital jaao. Doctors CT scan karke dekhte hain kya hua hai. Home remedies will not help in such a big problem. Jaldi karo aur doctor ki baat suno.

Please, if there's any suspicion of a stroke, do NOT wait. I once ignored some dizziness and numbness, thinking it was just fatigue, and later regretted not getting it checked sooner. A CT scan is very effective and crucial for identifying a stroke quickly. Time is brain, as doctors say. Go to the hospital immediately.

Yes, absolutely, a CT scan is a cornerstone for stroke diagnosis in an emergency setting. It's fast and effective at distinguishing between ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, which guides immediate treatment decisions. While an MRI can give more detailed views later, CT is vital for rapid assessment during acute stroke symptoms.
