Why sudden weight gain?

I've gained almost 5 kgs in the last two months, even though my eating habits haven't changed much and I'm reasonably active. I can't figure out why this is happening. What causes sudden weight gain?

Sudden weight gain often has a reason. It could be water retention, hormonal changes, or maybe a shift in diet or activity level you didn't notice. First, check your salt intake and if you're drinking enough water. If it persists, a doctor's visit is a simple and practical step to rule out thyroid issues or other underlying causes.

Ugh, my weight changes depending on how much sleep I didn't get last night! Honestly, sometimes it's just stress or poor sleep that makes you gain. Your body gets confused. But if it's really sudden and a lot, maybe your hormones are throwing a party without you. Definitely check it with a doc if it's worrying you.

I was just researching this! Sudden weight gain can be due to so many things, not just eating more. Like, it could be water retention, hormonal changes (especially thyroid or PCOS for women), or even certain medications. So it's not always about calories. It's quite complex!

I can only share my experience, not medical advice. I once gained weight quite fast, and it turned out I was very stressed and also not sleeping enough. Once I managed those, it started to stabilize. But everyone's body is different, so if it's a concern, a doctor is the best person to consult.

Haan, sudden weight gain can be very confusing, na? Sometimes it's just a bit of water retention if you ate something salty. But for many, it's related to hormones, like thyroid issues, or even stress affecting cortisol levels. Best to get your blood tests done and show to a doctor, they can tell you the real reason.

Bhai, agar achanak se vajan badh raha hai toh dhyaan dena padega. Hamare gaon mein toh kehte hain ki sharir mein koi badlav ho raha hai. Kabhi kabhi pet theek na hone se bhi hota hai, ya stress se. Doctor ko dikhao, woh sahi rasta batayenge. Apni sehat ka khayal rakho.
