Why does my hair fall out when i use conditioner?

When I apply conditioner and try to detangle my hair in the shower, so many strands come out. I thought conditioner was supposed to help with hair health, so I'm confused. Is this a bad sign?

Sometimes conditioners make hair slippery, so any loose hairs that are already meant to fall out come off easily. Make sure you apply conditioner only to the lengths and ends, not directly on the scalp. Also, use a wide-tooth comb gently while it's in.

Oh my god, I had the exact same issue! I thought my conditioner was making my hair fall. Turns out, my scalp was really dry and irritated. I switched to a very mild, sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, and started oiling regularly. It made a huge difference.

Haha, don't worry too much! It's super normal for some hair to come out when you're detangling with conditioner in. That's just the loose strands making their exit. 😉 Just be gentle and use a good wide-tooth comb. If it's literally clumps, then maybe check with a doc. ✨

Hair fall can be a sign of poor nutrition, not just the products you use. Are you getting enough protein and essential fats in your diet? Keep your body strong from inside, hair will automatically improve. And remember to rinse conditioner properly, residue can be bad.

Maybe your hair is hungry for some good nutrition? 😉 Seriously though, sometimes hairfall just means you need more vitamins. Are you getting enough of those tasty greens and proteins? Try adding some more healthy fats too, like ghee or nuts!

Oh no, hair fall can be so stressful! Is it a lot or just a few strands? I always worry about every little thing. Make sure you're not using too hot water and that the conditioner isn't irritating your scalp. Maybe switch to something natural for a bit and see if it helps. Don't stress too much yet!
