Why do i wake up after 6 hours of sleep?

I try to get a full 8 hours, but I consistently wake up after 6 hours and can't go back to sleep. This leaves me feeling tired throughout the day. What might be the reason?

Bro, same here! Sometimes I wake up feeling all fresh after 6 hours, other times I feel like I've slept for 2. For me, it depends on what I ate for dinner and if I worked out. If it's everyday, maybe check with a doc.

Please don't ignore this. I used to wake up frequently and thought it was normal, just stress. Turned out my blood sugar was a bit high. It's always better to get a general checkup, especially if it's happening consistently.

Waking up after a fixed time could mean your body's internal clock is set that way, or maybe something in your sleep environment is disturbing you. Try to ensure your room is completely dark and quiet, and maintain a consistent sleep schedule even on weekends. If it persists, see a doctor.

Please, don't go by every 'tip' you find online. Waking up like this could be nothing, or it could be related to something else. The best advice is to consult a doctor. They can actually tell you what's going on, not some random person on the internet.

I totally get it, that feeling of waking up consistently at the same time can be so frustrating when you want more sleep. Is your mind racing when you wake up? Maybe try some calming exercises before bed. But if it's affecting your daily energy, do check with a doctor.
