Why do i feel like vomiting after drinking water?

It's really strange, but sometimes after I drink water, especially first thing in the morning, I feel like I might vomit. My family says it's just my stomach being empty, but it feels more than that.

If it's just after water, especially cold water or too much too fast, it could be a sensitivity. But if it's persistent, don't ignore it. Book a quick appointment with a GP, even if it's just for peace of mind. Your health comes first, deadlines second.

Feeling nauseous after plain water isn't normal. It could be something simple like drinking too quickly, or your water is too cold, but it could also signal an underlying issue. Best to see a doctor to get it checked out. Don't self-diagnose.

For someone with BP, any strange reaction from the body is a red flag. Feeling like vomiting after water could point to electrolyte imbalance or other gastric issues. Please consult your doctor for a thorough check-up. Don't dismiss it, especially if it's a new symptom.

Oh my god, I had this exact problem last month! For me, it was because I was drinking water too fast, especially cold water when my stomach was a bit upset. Once I started sipping lukewarm water slowly, it completely stopped. Maybe try that first?

I used to panic when this happened, thought something was seriously wrong. But after a visit to the doctor, it turned out I was just drinking water too quickly on an empty stomach. Our stomach is quite sensitive. Try drinking small sips of normal temperature water, especially first thing in the morning. It might be just that.
