Oh, dear, swollen feet are a very common complaint during pregnancy, almost everyone experiences it! It's due to a few reasons: your body produces more blood and fluids to support the baby, and this extra fluid can pool in your feet and ankles. Also, the growing uterus puts pressure on blood vessels, which slows down blood flow from the lower body back to the heart. Rest, elevate your feet, and stay hydrated!

Swelling in feet during pregnancy is very common for most women, diabetic or not. It's due to increased body fluids and pressure from the growing uterus on veins, which affects circulation. However, if you are diabetic, it's even more important to monitor it closely, as uncontrolled blood sugar can sometimes worsen circulatory issues. Always discuss with your doctor to rule out complications like pre-eclampsia.

While some swelling is normal in pregnancy due to increased fluid volume and pressure on blood vessels, excessive or sudden swelling, especially with headaches or vision changes, can be a sign of pre-eclampsia. It's always, always best to get it checked by your doctor to ensure everything is okay. Don't take chances with your health during pregnancy.

That's a super common symptom for expecting moms! It happens because your body makes extra fluid to support the pregnancy, and the growing uterus puts pressure on your veins, making blood and fluid collect in your lower legs. While fitness is great, during pregnancy, just focus on light walks (if cleared by your doc) and elevating your feet. Staying hydrated helps, surprisingly!

Oh, that sounds uncomfortable. So, it's just extra water in the body, right? Does it go away quickly after delivery, or does it take time?

When I was pregnant with my son, my feet were like balloons! My doctor told me it's because the body produces more fluid, and the baby puts pressure on the veins that return blood from the legs. Elevating my feet, especially in the evening, and drinking plenty of water helped a lot. Just make sure to tell your doctor if it's sudden or very severe, okay?
