Why am i tired after 8 hours of sleep?

Even after getting my solid 8 hours of sleep, I still feel so tired by mid-morning. It's making it hard to concentrate at work. My friend said maybe I should check my iron levels.

My son used to be exactly like this. We realized his diet was not good, lots of junk food, and he was always on his phone. When we fixed his food and screen time before bed, his energy improved. Sometimes it's the basics that make the biggest difference.

Hey, it's okay to feel that way, don't worry too much. Eight hours is a good amount of sleep, but maybe the quality isn't ideal? Think about if your room is dark and quiet enough, or if you're too stressed. It often means your mind isn't fully relaxing. Try to chill before bed.

I ignored persistent tiredness for months, thinking it was just work stress. Turned out I had a vitamin D deficiency. It's easy to just brush it off, but please get a basic blood test done to check your iron, B12, and D levels. It's a simple step that can give you peace of mind or an early diagnosis.

Sometimes even good sleep isn't enough if your body isn't getting proper nutrients or enough movement. Are you eating balanced meals? A bit of light exercise, even a walk, can improve sleep quality and energy levels. Just suggesting, maybe look at your overall daily routine.

Getting tired after 8 hours of sleep can be frustrating. Don't immediately jump to expensive tests. First, check your lifestyle: consistent sleep schedule, no phone before bed, simple food. If it persists, then a basic CBC and vitamin checkup isn't too costly at a diagnostic center, worth doing before seeing a specialist.
