Why am i still sleepy after 10 hours of sleep?

It's so frustrating! I try to get proper sleep, sometimes even 10 hours, but still wake up feeling so groggy and sleepy. My work suffers because of this. Is there something wrong with my sleep quality, or could it be something else?

My son used to be exactly like this, sleeping for ages but always tired. We checked everything, and eventually found out he wasn't getting enough quality sleep due to his phone habits at night. We made a 'no phone in bedroom' rule and it helped a lot. Maybe check your sleep environment too?

Totally understand this. Hydration levels can also play a role, so try drinking enough water throughout the day.

Could it be what you're eating? Sometimes a really heavy dinner or too much sugary stuff before bed can mess with your sleep cycle, making you feel sluggish even after a long snooze. Maybe try a lighter, earlier dinner and see if that makes a difference. No point missing out on good food, but timing is key!

Hello, I also feel sleepy even after sleeping a lot. Is it possible that the sleep quality is not good? Like, maybe we are disturbed by something during the night without realizing it? Just a thought.

Maybe your body thinks it's a sloth on vacation? Just kidding! But seriously, sometimes more sleep isn't better sleep. It's like your internal battery charger needs a reset. Try waking up at a fixed time, even on weekends, for a while. Might trick your body into feeling less sleepy!

Sometimes, oversleeping can actually make you feel more groggy, believe it or not. Your body's natural rhythm gets confused. Also, subtle deficiencies like Vitamin D or B12 often manifest as persistent fatigue. It's usually a good idea to get a basic health check-up to rule out anything obvious.

Aiyo, it sounds like your body is asking for something more. Maybe too much rest also not good, no? Try a bit of walking in the morning, a little bit of fresh air. And simple, home-cooked food. Sometimes these small things help the body feel more energetic.

I used to be like this. Turned out my sleep apnea was causing really poor quality sleep, even though I was in bed for ages. Have you ever considered a sleep study? Or maybe your blood sugar levels are fluctuating too much. It's worth looking into beyond just hours of sleep.

Oh, that's such a bummer! 😴 After 10 hours, you should be feeling like a superhero! Maybe check if your room is dark enough or if there's any noise disturbing your deep sleep. Hope you figure it out soon! ✨
