Why am i so tired after 8 hours of sleep?

I make sure to get a full 8 hours of sleep every night, but I still wake up feeling so tired and unrefreshed. It's like the sleep isn't restorative. What could be the issue?

Beta, sometimes even good sleep isn't enough if your body is lacking something. Have you tried some traditional Indian remedies? Like maybe a glass of warm milk with a pinch of haldi before bed, or a light head massage with brahmi oil? But if it persists, it's always best to get checked by a doctor, just in case.

Honestly, 8 hours can be enough but maybe the quality isn't good. Are you scrolling on your phone till late? Or do you eat heavy dinner? These things seriously mess with deep sleep. Try cutting off screen time an hour before bed and see.

It's natural to feel concerned when your body doesn't feel right. Sometimes, our minds are so busy that even with sleep, we don't truly rest. Try a few minutes of meditation or deep breathing before sleeping. Keep your thoughts peaceful, and your body will follow. Take care.

I used to feel the same way, always tired even after sleeping. For me, it turned out to be related to my PCOS and some vitamin deficiencies that often come with it. It might be worth checking your vitamin D and B12 levels. Just a thought, but please consult a doctor for proper diagnosis.

This exact exhaustion was my main symptom before I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue. Even 8-9 hours of sleep felt like nothing. Please consider getting your thyroid panel done (TSH, T3, T4). It's a simple blood test and often overlooked. Better to rule it out with your doctor.
