Which vitamin deficiency causes hair loss and white hair?

I've been noticing more hair loss than usual, and my hair is also starting to turn white prematurely. My aunt said it could be a vitamin deficiency. Do you know which vitamin deficiency causes both hair loss and white hair?

Oh god, I totally get how stressful this can be. Mere saath bhi hua tha, it's so upsetting to see your hair fall and turn white, na? Made me feel so old and worried. But it can be managed once you know the cause. Don't let it get you down too much!

I was actually researching this for a friend. From what I read online, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D are often mentioned for hair loss and premature greying. Also, sometimes iron. But it's all based on what I found, not any personal experience. Best to ask a doctor, I think.

Haan, these symptoms can be linked to many things, including vitamin deficiencies. But also, just a heads-up, sometimes thyroid issues can also cause hair loss and changes in hair texture or color. Pls get your thyroid levels checked along with your vitamins, just to be sure. Always good to rule out everything with a doc.

For hair issues like loss and greying, common culprits are Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, and sometimes even iron deficiency. My advice would be to get a full blood panel done. That way you know exactly what you're missing and can supplement effectively. Saves time guessing.

Honestly, I panicked so much when my hair started falling and greying earlier than expected. I thought it was something very serious. But after some tests, it turned out to be a simple Vitamin D deficiency and some stress. So don't worry too much, get your tests done, usually it's something treatable!

Often, these things are connected to overall health and lifestyle, not just one vitamin. Like, stress or improper diet can affect your hair. Along with vitamins, make sure you're eating well and managing stress. High BP also makes you think about overall health more, so regular checkups are key, not just for hair but for everything.
