Which strain of flu causes vomiting?

My younger brother caught the flu recently, and he was also throwing up a lot. Does a specific strain of flu typically cause vomiting? I'm curious because not all flus seem to have that symptom.

I thought flu was mostly cough and cold. So, some flu strains can actually cause vomiting too? Is it usually more common in kids, or can adults also get it like that?

Oh no, vomiting with flu sounds terrible. I always get really anxious when I hear about flu strains that hit harder. Has anyone here actually experienced flu with vomiting? Is it common or quite rare?

Ho na, sometimes certain flu strains, especially in children, can cause gastrointestinal symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea. It's not just the respiratory part. It's very important to keep hydrated then, na?
