Which statins do not cause hair loss?

My friend started taking statins and noticed hair loss, and I'm concerned if I start them too. Are there certain statins that are less likely to cause hair loss? I'm hoping to avoid that side effect.

Beta, medicines ke side effects toh hote hi hain. Hair loss is a known one for many drugs, not just statins. It's better to discuss with your doctor if it's a major concern. Sometimes the benefit outweighs the side effect. They might adjust the dosage or suggest alternatives. Don't worry too much, just talk to your doctor.

This is exactly what I would worry about! I overthink every potential side effect. While some statins *might* have less reported hair loss, it's very individual. Please talk to your prescribing doctor about your concerns. They can help calm your mind and find the best fit for you.

Oh, statins can cause hair loss? I didn't know that. Is it a very common side effect, or does it happen to only some people? And if it does happen, is it permanent?

While I believe in natural remedies for many things, for statins and their side effects like hair loss, it's best to consult your doctor. They know your medical history. They might be able to suggest a different statin or dose. You can also explore diet and hair care for strength, but meds need doctor's advice.

Honestly, all medications have potential side effects, and hair loss is possible with some statins for some people. There's no definitive list of statins that *never* cause hair loss. Your doctor is the best person to discuss this with; they can evaluate your risk vs. benefit.
